S.M. Sanjay is the Chief Executive Officer of S.M. Sanjay & Co., the investment consultancy firm. He started the firm in 1991. A commerce graduate from Bangalore University, he brings over 19 years of experience working in the field of Stock Broking, financial management and consultancy. The passion of creating wealth was what brought him to this field; developing a team to advice various kinds of investments based on research drives him; and growing the number of informed investors is his dream which he has been achieving by helping their investments grow.
Sanjay has served as the Director of Bangalore Stock Exchange from the year 2004-2007 and was also part of the demutualization process of the Exchange. He has also served as the Director of the subsidiary of Bangalore Stock Exchange, BgSE Financials Ltd. which is engaged in the transactions of both National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) from the year 2004 – 2006. A firm believer in investment backed by solid research, he was also responsible for setting up the research wing of BgSE Financials Ltd. He currently lives in Bengaluru.
T.P. Priyadarshini is the Chief Operating Officer of S.M.Sanjay & Co. She joined the firm in 1995. She attended the Vidya Vardhaka College of Arts in Bangalore, India for Political Science and Economics and completed Masters in Business Administration from the Bangalore University, She has over 13 years experience in the Financial Markets, customer relations and business management. She has assisted clients in investments, market research and consultation. Researching on various sectors for investment has been the core of her work.
She has been instrumental in working constantly at client management as well as administration, witnessing the company’s turnaround and growth over the years of her tenure. She was also a visiting Professor at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore.
